Volunteers at MCV

MCV has volunteers on a regular basis. Here you can see who they are and what they do:

 

Lieke and Megan had been working at MCV  since September 2003 and left in August 2004.

They helped with everything; teaching, washing

the children, fundraising and a lot of little things.

They were the first 2 Project Trust volunteers at MCV.

Megan is from England and  Lieke is from Holland.

 

 

Ntebaleng is a Masotho. She works here full time in the pre-school. She also helps to fundraise for the village. She is here for an indefinite amount of time.

Sarah and Izzon were Project trust volunteers. They arrived here on September 4th 2004 and helped with the children until August 25th 2005. They lived on site and helped with the pre-school, in the office and with fundraising. They also helped bathe the children and maintain their good health. Both volunteers were from England.

We are Keri and Rebecca, Becky to the left of the photo, Keri to the right! (both Project Trust volunteers) We were both over the moon to be helping at Lesotho Save the Children. We arrived 01/09/05 and headed back to the UK the same time in 2006. We loved our time here and made the most of every minute, we hope we kept you all up to date with our goings on through the website.

We are Lynda (to the left) and Cathy (to the right). The first volunteers from ITT. We are here at MCV for the next twelve weeks. We arrived on the 5th September 2006. We help in the Pre-school as well as with bath time etc. Our aim here is to make a difference to some part of the home. We have decided that with our funds we are going to focus on improving the Pre-school.

We help out in the Pre-school and the office as well as bathing the children and giving them their medication. We will be keeping you updated on the goings on at MCV for the next year.
